Gina Posted July 4, 2013 Report Posted July 4, 2013 OK this took me way longer then I had expected but it is worth it when the last cut was made and it all stayed together, way more difficult then I thought, but it is done now on to something else in my to do list.. jerrybritner Posted July 4, 2013 Report Posted July 4, 2013 Awesome job cutting this, this would be one of those patterns that would call out my name, but I would duct tape its mouth shut then move on to something less challenging chuckle Quote
keefie Posted July 4, 2013 Report Posted July 4, 2013 Thats just Awesome. very nice cutting. (and staying in one piece after the last cut is a big bonus too lol) Keith. Quote
Phantom Scroller Posted July 4, 2013 Report Posted July 4, 2013 (edited) Keith a lot of work there but they don't look very happy do they, have you got any with smiley faces Gina. lol Roly Edited July 4, 2013 by Phantom Scroller Quote
penquin Posted July 4, 2013 Report Posted July 4, 2013 Gina, that is one outstanding cutting. Got the pattern and selected a piece of wood to do it in but can't get myself started on it when I look at all the cuts that got to be done. Just got back from a trip to Mt. Rushmore a couple of weeks ago, we did a road trip from Southern Calif. to the midwest and back. Hope to begin soon on it. thanks for sharing this wonderful work with us. jim penquin Gina 1 Quote

Gina Posted July 5, 2013 Author Report Posted July 5, 2013 Thanks everyone for the kind words, and yes I did just start scroll sawing about 1 year ago with the help of my boyfriend, I know I am very slow with my cutting but I like to take my time and get it right the first time, with this hobby there is no fixing a mistake, with the wood is cut wrong the whole project is scrapped to the dumpster, thanks again for the kind words and remember fellow scroll saw friends keep the blade moving...
