DWSUDEKUM Posted July 29, 2013 Author Report Posted July 29, 2013 Actually folks this is the wave of the future. This is the size of a postage stamp. It is a 10 watt Light Emitting Diode Cluster and when 12 volts dc at 1 amp are applied to it this device shines like a 60 watt incandescent light bulb, without the heat. I have made up a light for my scroll saw to replace the hot incandescent one that was on it. This light will last about 10 - 12 years or more. DW Huntter2022, amazingkevin and Travis 3 Quote

DWSUDEKUM Posted August 22, 2013 Author Report Posted August 22, 2013 where can we buy one? I got them on Ebay 10 of them for under $4 but you need the driver circuit and they are around $15 each. All n all a good buy. DW Quote
Jim Finn Posted August 23, 2013 Report Posted August 23, 2013 . "....This light will last about 10 - 12 years or more". DW Wow! These have been around for 12 years?... Where have I been? Quote
nrscroller Posted August 23, 2013 Report Posted August 23, 2013 Why don't you make and sell to all US folks? Quote
heppnerguy Posted August 23, 2013 Report Posted August 23, 2013 I would have not even guesses anything close to that. I thought it was some kind of small circuitry. definatelly not something that might light up. Quote
DWSUDEKUM Posted August 24, 2013 Author Report Posted August 24, 2013 Wow! These have been around for 12 years?... Where have I been? No these LED clusters are relatively new... like perhaps 3 years or less. Only recently have they become cost effective. DW Quote
