Entwistle Woodworking Posted August 11, 2013 Report Share Posted August 11, 2013 Yes you read that correctly...this table is made from a piece of oak that naturally formed with the mouth, eye, eye lid and snout just as you see it in the first picture. I know because I milled it myself Strangely enough out of the 10 or so slabs from that log, this is the only one that looks like this. Oh even the crack for the eye was naturally formed. What are the odds? Anyway...I made the teeth feom holly...tinted some epoxy black for the eye...found a suitable root base for it and had a 1/2" piece of glass cut to fit.
