Hello from NM

[two saws]

My name is Ervin from New Mexico and I have been scrolling for about 5 years after retiring from over the road truck driver. Need less to say I did not know any thing about wood working except that wood came from trees ,lol. Any way having picked up a book about scrolling some years back it looked like something I would like to try. I was able to obtain a Dremel saw and stand from Home Depot that had been on display for a very good price and with a pattern of a christmas ornament and some scrap wood I cut it out and even surprised my self! I showed it to a friend that did a little scrolling and was told that it was very good for a first time cut. From that beginning it snowballed to where my wife,Ruby, and myself have been doing craft shows and having fun meeting all of the crafters and customers and exchangeing ideas with them.

Sorry about all the rambling but I will check back in from time to time and will try to start an album

Hi Ervin! Welcome to the Village. I think you'll have a great time here. Lots of friendly and talented folks here. Craft shows are somthing I've always wanted to try. They look like a lot of fun. You should take a couple of pix of your booth the next time you do a show. We love seeing booth layouts. I look forward to seeing some of your work, too. Anyway, jump on in and have some fun!
