Pattern for trophies

Thanks to Birchbark for converting this picture for me. I plan on presenting these to our model boat club to see if they want to use them for our championship trophies at the end of the year. I think they turned out pretty well.

It is a nice pattern. You did a great job cutting it and it will make a unique trophy they could just go out and buy. Let us know what the decision turns out to be.

Thanks everyone! Yes it is Aromatic cedar from an old cedar chest we found at the dump. Here is the final product. One is tilted (can't tell from the picture) and the other is vertical.

After showing them off a little bit, one of the clubs decided they wanted 11 of them! So then I decided I should put them in the For Sale section of "Jims RC Boat Dock". I've sold 4 already and I only posted it last night! I'm using aromatic cedar closet lining because it has the craziest grain pattern I can find. (and a whole box is $30) Selling for $20 each or $17 for 4 or more.
