Well after quite a wait I finally cut it, there were three excellent patterns to choose from, 1 by Mahendra, 1 by Old Crow (DonR) and one by EIEIO, I couldn't decide which pattern so I emailed a copy of each to my girlfriend and she picked the one by EIEIO. But Thanks still go to Don and Mahendra for their patterns,  I will be cutting both of those for myself. And of course a thank you to Ray for his pattern too. Here is the finished portrait, as usual all comments welcomed.

Roly, The blue cover I normally use is in the cuboard and it's too awkward to get out with my knee playing up. The reason I use it for all my pics is it was mum's favourite cover and as she loved to see all the bits I made so I use the cover as a memory of her.

 

Richard, you are right, she is a really sweet lady, just a shame she is so ill.
