greasemonkeyredneck
I posted it to my gallery some time back, when I first joined this community, but I'd like to enter the Patriot Clock. This clock is made entirely of mahogany. It stands around 41" tall. It consists of the original Patriot Clock design by Steve Goode. Then for the bottom, I added the POW/MIA photo. Then for the sides of the bottom I used common 2" stencils and cut "Pride" on one side and "Honor" on the other. I also downloaded the POW/MIA photo from Steve Goode at Scrollsaw Workshop. Then I added a second level between the POW/MIA and the main clock. In the middle of this clock, I realized it called for an insert in the "God Bless America" section. I usually don't keep inserts around since I do larger clocks. So, for the second level, I designed a clock face using stars instead of numbers. This clock face, while simple, was one of the first things I ever designed for myself. I was proud of it.

Travis
WOW. What an impressive start! This is a lot of fun! That clock is awesome, greasemonkey. I really like how you took a existing pattern and made it your own. Very impressive clock. The picture of the Duke is amazing, Ron. Very nice cutting! You've got to upload that to your User's Gallery! You can't get much more American than the Duke. Thanks for the God Bless America pattern, Linda! I think that will be a very popular one. Easy to cut and would make a great shelf sitter. I gotta get started on my pattern before I'm left in the dust!

c_lang
Ok, I had a few minutes to spare today so thought I would post a pattern for the contest. This is something I came up with this morning and worked on it all day. Couldn't do much today except lay around (having one of my bad days), so hope everyone likes it and enjoy cutting it. It might be a simple saying but means a lot. O yea, Travis, I posted this here b/c of the type of pattern but, I'm not entering it. I only wanted to post it. c_lang
Here is another patriotic pattern for you all. This one was originally a historical picture I got from the "National Historic Site" here in Ft. Smith, AR a while back. I was going through my pattern disks and came across it. Again, this isn't posted for the contest, just posted here b/c of the type. Hope you all enjoy it.
