loftyhermes
Here's my cutting of Amy's horse from Russell's (Birchbark) pattern, thanks again for the pattern. It's 10" x 8" 1/8th ply, with white card behind just for the photo, finished with Danish oil. Cut on a Hobbies A1 treadle fretsaw using Olson 2/0 crown tooth blades in just under 3 hrs. As usual apologies for the photo, using the phone again. happy scrolling Steve lawson56, Lucky2, bobscroll and 1 other

heppnerguy
Steve, I have never seen a leg powered saw before. I would really like to see a photo of you working on your machine, if you would kindly post one for us. The darker background sure makes it stand out well. a good job from start to finish. I enjoyed your post.
loftyhermes
Heppnerguy, here photos of the two A1's I have, I can't use the saw and take a photo at the same time so you will have to wait for a photo of me working. Russell, my legs will be OK, I'll leave the treadle alone for a while then I've Tutor's pattern to have a go at but with spirals. happy scrolling Steve Edited September 25, 2013 by loftyhermes
