Phantom Scroller Posted October 2, 2013 Report Posted October 2, 2013 (edited) This tree can be decorated for Christmas or not, it's easy to draw in any tree shape resize one within the other the trick is to angle the blade or table 5 degrees or so and once it's cut you just push them out and they stay put, this method can be used for animals shapes as well and looks good free standing. The best size is 1/2 inch thick timber. Enjoy. Roly Edited October 2, 2013 by Phantom Scroller bobscroll, OutoftheWoodwork and lawson56 3 Quote
OutoftheWoodwork Posted October 2, 2013 Report Posted October 2, 2013 Kewl Roly!!!! Was this drawn by you, or was it a clipart? I like the shape of the tree and love the idea of doing it for different shapes. Also, the storage of it would be easy, seeing it folds flat. Quote

Barb I did draw the pattern but when I cut it on the saw I followed it by eye, which makes it flow smoothly then I just follow by eye the next cut in. I didn't even follow my pattern it doesn't have to be spot on as you can see by the cut internally not really following the outer one, so it's simple. Roly Thanks everyone for the comments. Quote

OK Barb here's the pattern I did and the exact size off the system, make it any size you want you don't have to follow the lines just angle the blade. Roly size 6.667 high 7.001 wide inches.
