PaPa50707
It's always nice to have a warm shop in the winter. Mine is in an unheated basement but the coldest it has every gotten down there was 53 degrees. I do have an electric heater that keeps my work area fairly comfortable. At least I don't get frostbite. wombatie
It is nice not to shiver while you are working otherwise you get wavy lines instead of straight ones. Marg Travis
Gary Beasley
Looks like you need to get your filtration in so the sawdust doesn't get sucked in and toasted. I see you have the type that takes in outside air, good to have less chance of igniting dust and such. Georgias climate is mild enough I went with a heat pump style window ac to keep the shop comfortable.
Barry5180
My shop is in my basement so thankfully I don't need much in the way of a heat source. Yours looks like it will do a pretty darn good job of keeping you nice and toasty. Barry
Fish
I'm sure that is nice, I have no heat either in my garage so when the cold comes I'm done 'til spring. Good scrolling!
heppnerguy
I have a little wood burning stove in my shop, which is a small 16 x 16 foot shop, and today we got rain for the first time in a long time and they are talking about snow for tomorrow, and the temperature was in the low 50's today, so I built me a fire and ended up having my shop door open most of the time. Glad for my little stove, I can cut all winter long. Hey Fish, bring you saw to my house and we can scroll together all winter long. Beats not scrolling for such a long time. And Marg, does it ever get cold in your neck of the woods? you probably don't have a heating system in your entire home, let alone the shop
Gary Beasley
Bet that little wood burning stove is a handy way to hide mistakes! Travis
