jrpeteo
Made the little box for spraying adhesive on patterns and for applying finishes, paint, lacquer, shellac etc... It's about 20" high, wide, deep. There is a 4" air space (plenum) behind the filters (2) to help distribute the air evenly. It is vented to the outside of the house with a dryer type vent. The chain on top is for hanging small items. I will be lining the inside with butcher paper so I can replace it often. Here in Minnesota you can't always go outside to spray. TXScrollsawartist
I was wondering how scrollers in northern climes could apply finishes in the winter. I am entirely happy to NOT live where that un-natural white stuff falls in the winter, I will file this idea for the future because even Houston has been known for getting in the 40's in January. Thanks!

Jim Finn
Pretty good idea. Does it get rid of all the overspray?
vykus
I'm in Wisconsin and I think I need one of these too, with a heater attached. I work in my unheated garage and in the last weeks I have needed to take my pieces to my parents house and spray in their basement (I'm in an apartment) I can barely scroll lately and will likely have to stop for the season soon. jrpeteo
Pretty good idea. Does it get rid of all the overspray? Yes it does, as long as I aim the can to the back and paint in short bursts. 95% of the fumes as well, which was the main reason for it. There is a lazy susan (turntable) in there as well.
