DonR Posted October 29, 2013 Report Posted October 29, 2013 I made a pattern the other day for a Christmas elf, for a request on the other forum, then decided to make a few more. I cut three of them and I think they turned out OK. These were cut from 1 X pine scraps and finished with Watco Danish Oil, Dark Walnut. I also made a base pattern for them but didn't use it because they stand just fine by themselves. Don R Quote

keefie Posted October 30, 2013 Report Posted October 30, 2013 They look awesome Don, great detail and nicely cut too. And I couldn't agree more with Kevin's comments about your great website. Quote
Barry5180 Posted October 30, 2013 Report Posted October 30, 2013 Those are terrific Don, and very cute. Having a dozen or two scattered around in strategic places would be an interesting way to display them. It would make the house look like it's been overrun with elves. Barry Quote

DonR Posted October 30, 2013 Author Report Posted October 30, 2013 Thanks every one for your great comments. Making the patterns and cutting them was almost like eating peanuts. Once you start....... They were a lot of fun to do even though I had to use my backup saw because my Delta is still sick but not quite terminal. Don R Quote
