heppnerguy
I modified one of Judy Gale Roberts' patterns to come up with what I wanted for gifts for my 2 of my great granddaughter's Christms presents. I thought they would be cute hanging on their bedroom walls. I used cedar and poplar. I used a white pigmented rub on stain to lighten the middle of the paws and feet, they are the exact pieces as the outter parts surrounding the lighter peaces. I never tried that before and it gave me exactly what I was hoping to acomplish. Today I cut, shaped and sanded the second bear and it is ready to glue and finish, hopefully tomorrow.
