Clayton717
I just finished this up tonight, I took the picture between coats of poly. Its an 1866 carbine intarsia. The end of the barrel is cut off in the picture, overall it is just over 43" long. The woods used were oak - stock, fore grip. - Pau amarillo(yellowheart) - lever, trigger, hammer, reciever and butt plate. - walnut - sights, trim pieces. mahogany - barrel & feed tube

Clayton717
thanks Vector and Al, This was my first attempt at this rifle. The way people reacted to it today I'm sure I will be making more of them.
Fran
I love it, Clayton. Is this your pattern? I know Robert H. has some patterns of guns, as I ordered all of them. Have made the pistols, but not the rifles yet. Was going to make some for the "gun nuts" in the family and friends. I really like the shaping you did, I may have to call on you for some help. Guns are not as easy as they look. Fran

The pattern is by Robert Hlavacek Sr. Most of the shaping on this one I used the router table.
