Sparkey
Thanks everybody. My wife loves roses. I need some practice before I start this other pattern I have that's a lot harder. I also wanted to try some new Flying Dutchman blades I got to see if I like them. They are spiral blades number 1 and I like them a lot. heppnerguy
nice rose and an interesting one to make. I looks like you cut pieces and then finished the and glued them onto a backing board. The opposite of how I imagine this to end up. Makes me want to reconsider how I can re-cut some of the ones I have already done. Nice job, Sparkey Dick heppnerguy
heppnerguy
Rusty, I took another look at your cutting and i do believe that it is the shadows that make it look like it is cut and glued, but I think that is is all cutouts. I still like it. I creates an interesting allusion though Dick hepnerguy
wombatie
I love roses, I have a garden full of them, plus my middle name is Rose, so is my Granddaughters. So when I say I love your rose, you can believe it. The 2 different colors are really good. Well done. Marg

We have many rose bushes planted around the house. The trick is keeping the deer from eating them before they bloom.
LarryEA
Well, it looks like to me you have a backer glued on and it is painted red and black. Whatever or however you cut it, it is nice. I get 'heartburn' thinking about scrolling with spiral blades. A little jitters and I'm off in the wrong direction. browders
Sparkey
I bought some new paper for backgrounds. It's shiny, kind of like foil and comes in a lot of different colors. A guy I work with called it chrome paper. I took the old paper off the rose I made and put this on. I like it much better. This is the rose with the new paper.
