Vector01 Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 Hi All: Finally finished the gift for my grandson. This was definitely a challenging piece (for me anyway). I'm thinking of giving it a couple of coats of clear matte finish for protection. I've used this finish on my woodburnings with great results. Looking at it finished I'm thinking of keeping it for myself I told my wife I can always get him a new bat and glove I have to give kudos to Travis for providing that excellent GIMP tutorial and the SSV members who offered those great suggestions. I have a few more on the burner I'm working on for future projects. Quote

I think you're going to be quite busy in the near future when everybody sees it. You'll have orders coming out of your ears! Quote
