smitty0312
After this busy Christmas scroll saw season, I will be taking a break from the saw and most of my free time will be in this..... trying to catch some fish for the frying pan.....or not....... I find it really relaxing in the icehut.....of course with my heater on! wombatie, Travis and woodworker13403A
browders
I' don't know, it looks as though you might fit a saw in there. You know for the days when the fish aren't biting so well.

browders
I suppose there are conditions where I could be persuaded to ice fish. I know my boys in Minneapolis rented an icehouse in northern Minnesota for a weekend. Came with beds cooking facilities and a tv. That sounds survivable. amazingkevin
How to catch a polar bear. Cut hole in ice. Place peas around the hole. When the bear comes to take a pea, you kick it in the ice hole. don't forget now! woodworker13403A

Ron Johnson
Good luck fishing Dan. It's been a few years since I've been out ice fishing. Maybe this year.
jrpeteo
I see you had a truckload of "Little Debbie" snacks and treats brought in to stock up on "fishing suplies". Have fun, but careful, we already had a guy break through the ice and drown just a bit north of here. Pete

heppnerguy
Nice ice fishing set up. I went ice fishing one time, years ago. After we drilled our holes in the ice, it occured that it might be a little difficult to bring them out through the hole because whenever I have hooked a trout they take off on a run. We had just placed our bated hooks down it the water for the first time. Just as I was asking my question, the guy that took me got a bite and immediately lifted the trout through the hole. "like this", he said, as he showed me his fish. I laughed. Have fun...can I go with you ? Dick heppnerguy
oldhudson
You should post more detail. Where do you fish and what a you trying to catch? I go out a couple times a year but 'open hole' it. There's a little ice here on the smaller lakes but anything larger is all open water still. Winter is such a great time if you don't have to drive to work in the snow.
