bluesjunkie
Hi Group Thank You for letting me become part of your Group,My name is Chuck and the way that I found our about Scroll Sawing was after I came back from Alaska where I was working on a commercial crab boat I went to the state Fair in Oregon and it was there that I saw Marilyn & Garth Carmin demonstrating the Hawk scroll saw so after going back every day to watch them I decided that I really did want one so Garth just happened to have one out in their rig and I bought it then and saved shipping charges and waiting.I started out making Religious Plaques and Key chains then started to make desk sets,Then I started using it in my jewelry work, sure made things a lot easier. Now I use it for inlays for my wood turning projects . Well that's about it for now have to get a handle for a Ice Cream scoop turned. Chuck
Travis
Welcome to the Village, Chuck. We're glad you found us. Lots of talented and friendly folks here. I think you'll fit in just fine! I'd love to see some of your work. You can set up a User Gallery (you can find a [tut]tutorial here[/tut]) and show off a little. There are a number of turners here too, so we'd love to see some of your turnings too. Anyway, welcome aboard. Jump on in and have some fun!
