The lower arm of the EX 21 is a knock (bang bang bang)

Recently bought my
New Excalibur EX21 Special International Edition.
I usually cut mostly marine plywood with 12milimetros and 20 mm.
In recent weeks began to make a beat (bang bang bang) that comes from the lower arm, which makes me very sad
How to stop this noise?

Excuse my translation!

Hi Antonio

My best suggestion is to contact Ray at Seyco.com and explain the issue you are having. He is the scroll saw specialist for Excalibur. Ray is usually good at replying back very quick. In the meantime I would leave your saw idle until he can give you a solution to the problem. The new Excalibur scroll saws are now gear driven and I am not familiar with them as I am with the belt driven one I have. Don't worry, I am sure it is an easy fix. Let me know how you make out. Thank you.

I would hold down on the moving parts in the top arm and lift up and down on the lower arm to see where the play or loose ness is and go from there.do this with out the blade in and machine turned off.and then reverse the procedure and hold down the bottom arm and lift up and down to see where the sloppiness is comeing from .12 mm. is short of 1/2'' American or sae size.i did lots of 3/4'' and the saw just didn't like the work load I gave it on Chinese saws .strange your having a problem .google hegner scroll saw knocking noises or hegner scroll saw  problems.try different ways of telling google what it is you want .something wil come up for you that should help.

Hello Ron!
Today I'm back to my rhythm section with my Excalibur, I love it!
I believe I am the only Portuguese to have an Excalibur, there is no dealer here!

I am very happy to be back to cut many orders that were already late!

Greetings my friend Ron.

I hope you understand my translation!
