Ron Johnson
Rusty, if it's any help I have a heater that you're welcome to borrow.
Ron Johnson
I live in an apartment and am lucky enough to have my own separate garage so I can work. The problem is that it is also used to store a lot of things that used to be in a basement that we no longer have. It is very cramped but the nice thing is that everything is in reach. It's not always the size of shop that matters but how you utilize the space you have available that counts and like you said everything is within reach which I like the most. Ron Johnson
This is part of my messy shop Larry, if this is only part of your shop then you must have a fair amount of room, which I sometimes wish I had more of. Your shop looks clean to me. Maybe messy to you but looks like you have a large selection of tools.
LarryEA
Thanks Ron, of course like most of us, not all the tools I would like. I'm blessed with the basics. Drill, planer, router, scroll saw and orbit sander. This room would be big enough if the cedar chest, freezer, garden tools had somewhere else to go. Also, this is storage for the wood I use the most...hah, the wood that has to stay. Phantom Scroller and woodworker13403A
Phantom Scroller
Nice shop Larry, I keep buying tools and the wife says do you really need that and I say not now perhaps but when I do I have one. You can't do the job if you don't have the tools I say. Roly LarryEA
browders
Well this is my sanctum sanctorum As you can see it's a little wintry these days. This shop was here when we bought the property, but not near where we build our house. It's 24 X 30'. Although it seems big, I oftentimes must convert it to vehicle servicing and repair. My problem is I just can't figure how I want to set things up. They need to be fairly mobile so I can move them out of the way when necessary. Overall, I find it a great place to hang out, although in this weather it does take a while to warm up since there's only wood heat.
