Docupton
It was my last show of the year, I was unsure about going as it is always a poor show, but I decided to try something different. I know this wont work for everyone but it certainly paid off for me. I put raffle tickets on half my stock, the winning tickets would end in a nought or a five. I sold the tickets at £1.00 each and sold 57 tickets with 14 winners, I also sold 7 full price non raffle items and came home with a smile on my face, not bad for a 6 hour one day sale in a school hall. Phantom Scroller
Nice one Doc, did you put the tickets in box take the money and then let them pick the ticket and you get to see the sad face when a nought or a five didn't come out. aah haa haa great stuff funny. On a serious note good idea well done, what a different way to sell the goods. Roly

ChelCass
Neat idea, most people are willing to spend a buck for a chance to win something.

Ron Johnson
Hi doc It is always worth to try something different from what others do at trade shows. You came up with an idea and it paid off. I am glad your idea worked from the norm. You deserve credit for being different.

heppnerguy
Interesting twist.. I bet others will start adopting this idea as the craft shows start up again in the summer Dick heppnerguy
