Displaying scrollwork

Overfifty

Recommended Posts

Barry, I have no particular preference.

The pattern, especially the pattern, the thickness of the wood probably determines

How it is displayed.

PS: How many ways can you display scroll works?

* Framed

      A) Frame is separate from the scroll work

      B) Frame is anchored and part of the scroll work

* Self standing

* Base mounted

* Wall hanging - No frame

For fretwork I frame them. I am lucky the place I work at used to make frames and doesn't any more but still has all the tools and supplies. We can make any frame any size for $5 so it wouldn't make sense for me not to frame them. I am working on an intarsia now that is three roses. My wife wants them put in a shadow box.
