DWSUDEKUM
Cut from Pine, Red Cedar and Poplar. This basket is 8in. in diameter. Finished with several coats of clear shellac. The disk in the center is a slice of a 1 ½ in. poplar dowel. DW Phantom Scroller, bobscroll, Fab4 and 3 others

I will have to have a go at these baskets they do look good, what angle are you cutting them at?. Roly Roly these baskets are cut with no angle at all. All the basket is is a series of concentric rings that are glued together. If you took it apart you would have a disk 8in in diameter with a bunch of cut rings that range from 8in to approx. 4 1/2 in. in diameter. They are fun to make and people often wonder how it was made or if it was one of those collapsing ones. DW

DWSUDEKUM
i'd like to see the glued up board before the cutting on this gem. Kevin it looked a bit like the British Flag ( Union Jack ) with a dot in the center. DW
