heppnerguy Posted January 8, 2014 Report Posted January 8, 2014 Hi Hahs, Sorry I have not been on here very much lately because I have been busy redoing my shop and I think tomorrow I can get back to making sawdust again. I just read your post to our new member from The Netherlands and I would have wondered why you had the name, Hans. I would have made me wonder about it, being you stated you live in Mexico and moved from Canada. Not a common name for either coutry. Anyway, Welcome to The Village. I hope you come here often and participate in the forum by adding comments or starting a topic, or ask or answer others questions because that is how you get to know us and we get to know you too. Soon you will understand that you are a part of this great family of scrollers. Hope to see you post often. Dick heppnerguy Quote

Proxprof Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 Hello Hans, welcome to the forum. I read in another thread you are dutch too? You said you've lived in Groningen. That's near my hometown (Hoogezand) I also went to school in Groningen. Because of my job I live in Venlo now, that's more in the south of the Netherlands. Funny to see that there are dutch people all around the world and that they "meet" eachother because of their hobbies. Richard Quote
Bendita Posted January 14, 2014 Author Report Posted January 14, 2014 I didn't live in Groningen only went to school there I lived in Zuidlaren when I went to school in Groningen Richard, yes there appears to be a few Dutchmen here in the Village. Quote
