And now for something completely different.

The main body is made from Western Red Cedar, the tail is Cottonwood and the underbelly is Basswood.

We started by cutting the main pieces from 1 1/2" WRC.

All the pieces were shaped and then checked for fit.

The underbelly was glued in place and shaped.

The pieces were wood burnt and painted.

We glued together all the pieces and when it gets warmer we will clear coat it.

Not sure were the idea came from but we did enjoy the challenge of figuring out how to do it.

We didn't count them , but we figure abt. 60/inch and its 60" long = abt 3600

Not sure on the Hrs but we figure abt 60 Hrs.
