keefie Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 very nice work DW, love the finish you always get on your work. Quote
jrpeteo Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 Very nice basket. How do you glue the pieces together? I'm always afraid that I will have too much glue squeeze out, so the finish won't take. That's why I have not tried some of these. Do you put little dots of glue all the way around?? Pete Quote

Pete Pete for the most part that is what I do. I figure out where the rings ride and only put a dot of glue at each point. I then clean up as much as possible before the glue gets hardened. LarryEA Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 That is great. Love the way you 'pictured' them. A-n-d ... I use a toothpick and remove excess glue when it just starts to set...before it gets hard. It comes off very easy. (I'm speaking of TightbondIII) Larry Quote
