Ron Johnson Posted January 19, 2014 Report Posted January 19, 2014 Hi Dan Usually 30 - 45 min sitting on a stool. Then I'll take a break for a few min. and then continue. An hour would have been the longest. Quote
thatknobtony Posted January 21, 2014 Report Posted January 21, 2014 It was suggested that I build a stand with a 30 degree angle to it. Now I can saw for a good length of time. I still get googly eyes but it's nothing another coffee(beer) can't fix. It's nicer on the back not being slouched over all the time. Quote
Clayton717 Posted January 21, 2014 Report Posted January 21, 2014 depends on what I'm cutting. but normally 2-3 hours. Unless it starts getting to me, making mistakes I will take a break and work on something else. Quote
MrsN Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 I can sit and saw for 3-4 hours, I love the days that I can do that. However, lately, I am lucky to get 5 minutes. Quote
Uncle Ricky Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 I sit anywhere between 6 to 8 hours, depinding on the project that I'm doing. Quote
Fish Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 I have spent 2-3 hours at times. I don't think I could sit much longer without taking a break. Quote
scroller111 Posted January 24, 2014 Report Posted January 24, 2014 I usually cut for about 4-5 hours at a time. I sit on a excercise ball, I have tried the chairs, bar stools and standing, but I find this to be the most comfortable. Quote

Well, I've gotta say Thomas that you are the only one I know that scrolls while sitting on an exercise ball. They are pretty comfortable, but my table is too high for that. Quote
WayneMahler Posted March 15, 2014 Report Posted March 15, 2014 For me it depends on the day. I average between 5 to 6 hours on a week day after work, on the week ends normally more then that. We do crafts shows and stock goes pretty fast. The Mrs. likes her tv, I don't watch it much so I work in the shop. Quote
Phantom Scroller Posted March 15, 2014 Report Posted March 15, 2014 Anybody try sitting on a beanbag at the saw, just wondering it might be comfortable. Roly Quote
