k9dave Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 Hi all, I thought I would post my latest attempt at a portrait. I know it's not a patch on some of the amazing work that is done by other members on here but I'm feeling quite proud that I have completed this project from start to finish I.e. Taking photograph, editing and cutting. Still haven't made my mind up about framing yet. One more grandchild to do then I have the set! Regards to all Mel lawson56 and keefie 2 Quote

k9dave Posted February 6, 2014 Author Report Posted February 6, 2014 Thanks guys. Rusty, My first attempt was the one of my granddaughter the pattern was created by a fellow scroller, the other 2 I did from start to finish. As hardwood is difficult to get hold of in the UK (and expensive) I used 1/4 inch MDF which I then veneered with American oak. I wanted to spray paint the silver surround on the frame black to give them a bit more contrast but my other half didn't agree. And I know what's good for me!! Quote
