This was a free pattern from Karl Taylor, and I ran into a problem, which I would hate to destroy,  He said these words were for an overlay, which he never said, and my problem is the os and the I  won't work, now does anyone have any sugestions, how I can do this without the letters falling out. Hopefully the picture shows up.  Thanks  edward

Ed that text won't work unless you put bridges in but what you could do is print another copy and cut the letters as raised letters and glue them on the finished job so they will look 3d letters on top of the pattern. I mean't cut them on a new piece of wood.

easy as pie ,just erase a spot on the letters that will fall out before cutting i do this as i needed lots.On the o's erase the bottom a little  so wood stays connected to the inside of the o. if you erase the top of the o it will look like a u. :)

Edward,

If you really do not understand bridges very well, then I too would be in favor of cutting the pieces separately and gluing them in place. You couls also possibly cut them as inlays too, I believe, but I haven't done enough of that yet to be real sure.

It sounds to me like he meant to cut them as an over-lay, meaning cut the word INDIAN out separately and cut the letters for

MOTORCLYCLE separately and glue them back onto the project.

If you have already started cutting some of the letters, then you will probably have to add the bridges most of the other

replies have mentioned.

Good luck and God Bless! Spirithorse
