sullyscroller
When you said homemade I expected a saw made with bailing wire and such. Heck that looks better than my Dewalt LOL. sully
Fish
Now that is some good work.
Dan
Great work. The design seems like you could get a perfect up and down motion of the blade. Most saws with moving arms have a slight forward to back movement of the blade. I'm not sure how durable the cable would be, but it is a very ingenious idea. heppnerguy
Absoutely (sp) amazing. One can't knock this project. I am scratching my head, trying to figure out how to connect my dust collector to my scroll saw and then I come across this. Boy that really makes me feel stupid. I really enjoy seeing people who have such a wonderful ability to figure out how to build something as complex as this and have it work so perfectly. Thanks Travis for sharing this with us. Now I need to go out to my shop and take another look at me really small task of sonnecting my dust collector so it picks up my saw dust. browders
I always have a hard time imagining that there are people in the world who can think about things like this and then make it happen. I guess it's one reason our world keeps evolving. That is a most impressive project. Makes me just a little sad as I struggle to make sure my corners are square and that I have just measured 2 1/2 inches not 1 and 1/2. amazingkevin

Ron Johnson
Hi Travis Interesting video. A genius for sure who thought of and made this scroll saw. One thing is the parts can be replaced by simply making another. Amazing. Thanks for sharing.

Lucky2
That's pure ingenuity, I'm surprised that he didn't make it peddle operated. Thanks Trav, for bringing it to our attention. Len
