Just finished::::

I just finished this project of two Elk fighting. I wanted something that would fit on a long work piece & I chose this one. I added a lot of the back-ground to finish it.  It is a 3/4 in. basswood slab with bark on the edges. I get some of this wood at our annual carvers show just for something different. It is a little too thick, but, I like the bark edging. I added a little color to it & coated it with tongue oil.  The backer is just a piece of black foam sheeting glued on. Let me know what you think. I'm open for any critique. Thanks.
