Hi Folks

Im just curious about pricing on the ex21 where you are... ive been searching online...im in canada and the cheapest i can find is 854.00 american plus shipping :(. maybe im searching the wrong places . whats the price in your area. any ideas from any folks in canada?

Did you try KMS tools they are in your part of the country?  I dealt with them a few years ago to buy a Nova lathe and they were great to deal with even shipping across the country.  I see they have the Ex16 on their web site but they are General dealers.  I bought mine 3 years ago from Federated in London Ontario for the 21, stand and foot pedal for about $780 as part of a woodshow promotion that I never went to but they gave me 10% off and threw in the shipping.

Darcy, if you can hold off until July you'll get a much better price, General has a sale every year that starts around that time. They have all of their tools on sale at that time, I bought mine when it was on sale like this and I saved over $250. The best place to purchase one from is one that has a service center that would service the saw, I bought mine from a place that sells industrial tools. You could find out who sells are in your area, by going to the General site and check out their list of dealers. There's likely to be 4 or 5 of them in your neck of the woods, you would just have to pick the one you want to deal with. By the way, you'll love owning an Ex, I know I certainly like mine a lot.

I had no idea where Pitt Meadows is but I see you are real close to KMS in Langley. 

 

If you really want a new EX-21 I would give them a call to see what if they know what is going to happen with the price next month as the current flyer goes to Feb 28. 

 

The 849 price is the same in the USA and in Canada at this time but the Cdn $ has dropped recently so the prices maybe changing.
