Fay Prozora
Beautiful saw! How heavy was it to unpack? Mine was about 60 pounds. The scroll table seemed to weigh more than the rest of the saw but I got it up on the bench with no problems at all. Enjoy your new toy.. Have a great day Fay Oh on the Seyco site they have those saws in black. I thought your would be green too as most of those saws I've seen are green. Phantom Scroller
woooooo black betty bam a lam, woooooooooo black betty what a beautiful saw, that don't sound right. You make sure you look after it Darcy put a bit of grease under the tightening lever makes it easier going and stops wear. Doug
I think when they did their anniversary edition they also permanently switched from green to black. Black is all they show on the General International web site. I like the black better. Now if the green had been John Deere green rather than Oliver green I probably would have been disappointed with the change. sawdust junkie and Wilson's Woodworking

Lucky2
Black or green, what does it matter? The saw will cut just as well no matter what color it is, mine is green and it's a joy to use. Yours is black, and I imagine you will really enjoy using it. The color switch came about because of an anniversary, I don't know if they are going to stick with black or, if they will be going back to green. Enjoy using it, and see what you've been missing out on by using Ol Yeller for as long as you have.(JK) You will find some difference with the EX, but, you won't find much difference other than the way the saw head tilts instead of the table. Knowing you as well as I do, I think it will almost kill you if you have to wait until spring to use your new toy. Good luck with it, I'm very happy for you. Doug
Roly That is so violent and unlike you. How about this one which also refers to the rolling arsenal as "Black Beauty"? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oejp8rvH2Pk Okay, some violence here too, but not as deadly. Wilson's Woodworking
If that was my house a few days of doing my own cooking, cleaning, and doing my own laundry and that saw would be set up right in the kitchen ( or any where you wanted it) and I would be chearing you on. Cut baby Cut. Lol

Ok Doug but a lot of car smashing action a bit like the sparks that come off my saw when I'm working. Roly
