Luperez548 Posted February 22, 2014 Report Posted February 22, 2014 Simón DÃaz, the folk singer affectionately known as “Uncle Simón†in his native Venezuela, has died at age 85. The folk singer was known internationally for his much covered song "Caballo Viejo". . His most famous songs include Luna de Margarita, La Vaca Mariposa, Tonada de Luna Llena and, of course, Caballo Viejo, which has been translated into 12 languages.
