amazingkevin
I have fallen asleep sitting at my saw many many times .I started out just resting my eyes for a few seconds and ended up sawing logs and counting sheep. My hands were still in position and the saw still running with blade in wood and never messed up the project. This was back in 2006 to 2012 when i'd scroll my bee hind off day and night .How long i was asleep i've no idea.HAVE YOU DONE THIS TOO? oldhudson
Nope I've never fallen asleep at in the shop. I guess I don't work hard enough. The only story I can tell similar is that I lived in Chicago for many years and rode the subway to my job, I worked in the "loop". Fell asleep one morning and woke up way out on the south side. Too funny. amazingkevin

Sparkey
No I have never done that. I fell asleep a couple of times standing at a blueprint table when I used to build high rise buildings. amazingkevin

Dan
Well, I've been caught sawing logs in the shop but never fell asleep. Like Jim, I don't remember falling asleep behind the wheel but I do remember waking up. Very scary.
Ken O
I fell asleep at the wheel of one of my video games, wrecked that car bad! Can't imagine falling asleep in the shop, not with Led Zeppelin cranked!
Ron Johnson
Good morning Kevin Never fell asleep at the scroll saw but I've fallen asleep behind the wheel and recall waking up with telephone poles zooming by me and hearing horns honking. SCARY AS HELL. First and last time. Other than that I've and still do fall asleep watching T.V. amazingkevin

heppnerguy
I remember when I would drive a truck to a town 100 miles away at 3:30 am and I would be fighting sleep. I would loop my left hand over the air horn line and when I just started to doze off my arm would relax and the air horn would blast away. that wokd me really fast and I would pull into the next rest stop and catch about 15 minutes sleep and I was good to go Dick heppnerguy amazingkevin and cheeseburger

Fay Prozora
Wow! That sounds a bit scary for me. I won't even run the saw when I'm tired and not feeling good. I have fallen asleep at the computer a time or two, but not at the saw. I stand when I scroll so if I get tired, I will turn off the saw and go sit down for awhile or continue what I was sawing the next day. I haven't worked much on the saw the last couple of days because of severe tooth problems. but maybe it'll be better after Thursday and then back at the saw. I may go home for a few days this weekend. Take care Fay amazingkevin
patrol681
Hearing you folks talk about falling asleep while driving etc. Reminds my of the old adage; "Regular naps prevent old age, - especially when taken while driving" amazingkevin and Phantom Scroller
Doug
Hearing you folks talk about falling asleep while driving etc. Reminds my of the old adage; "Regular naps prevent old age, - especially when taken while driving" Or the one that goes "Dad died in his sleep. Unlike his passengers who were all screaming when they died." amazingkevin
