Hi New here,

Been wanting to try scrolling for a long time and I finally got my chance recently, I was hooked instantly and I'm looking forward to growing my skills and learning from you all, I will also do my best to contribute information myself as I am able.

Glad to be here and Excited to get started with scrolling.

I have been doing fun things with wood for a while, I have attached a few of my other projects.

Thanks!
Stephen,

Welcome to The Village. There are a ton of free patterns to enjoy cutting here. I hope you brouse the entire page. If you get stuck and don't know where or how to get to some place, then just ask. and expect several answers. good luck with you scrolling efforts. Good to see that you have explored several options already. nice job

Hello Stephen, Welcome aboard.

What held you up?

Those are nice works you do and from what you have shown,

you will be great at scrolling.

You failed to mention what scroll saw you have.

Larry

I'm Using a Porter Cable PCB370SS.

I'm hoping to add some technical articles on this saw, as i Have had it apart twice now in the week i've had it but its soo nice and quiet I think im going to keep it. Especially for the price I paid.

I've been using "SKIL" Blades, but I have ordered some FD Blades, Should be here tomorrow. Cant wait to make some Piles of saw dust.

:-)

Welcome to the Village Stephen. I'm Marg from Australia. Love your work. You do realize that scrolling is addictive and that there is no known cure, don't you? ;)

Marg

My thoughts exactly Marg. We're shunned by the masses, and pushed out of society. Eventually, there's only one place left for us...(Why do you think so many of us end up here LOL!) Welcome to the village Stephen...we're quite normal really.

Kindest Regards,

Nick (East Coast - UK)

Hey Stephen. I'm loving the trees especially. I presume the background is burnt and then sanded. It gives a great look. Nice work. Kindest Regards, Nick.

Not sanded, Just Burnt very very carefully, I use Glass and other Non Flammable things to mask, Kind of like Spray painting but with fire. The moon in the last picture was a shot glass lol.
