Both made with Marine Ply Wood, the smaller one is just under 3" diam and had 42 segments and has 4 spirals. I should try one using a good grade of plywood and those stands are great too. I made a stand for mine out of a bowl that I cut out that did not turn out so I used it for the stand. turned out nice.
