bobcol
These are my latest attempts at spiral shells. Both made with Marine Ply Wood, the smaller one is just under 3" diam and had 42 segments and has 4 spirals. I cut the wedges for the larger shell with the grain up and got a completely different effect. amazingkevin

Fay Prozora
Real nice looking shells there. You have a lot of talent and patience. I should try one using a good grade of plywood and those stands are great too. I made a stand for mine out of a bowl that I cut out that did not turn out so I used it for the stand. turned out nice. Have a great day Fay

bobcol
Thanks for the great comments. Fish, I didn't work to a pattern, I noticed that the majority of shells produced were basically the same stereo type so I played around with the size and angle of the wedges, to be a bit different.
