Travis
How is it that it's the middle of July and I'm already thinking about Christmas presents!? Am I the only one? How many of you are making Christmas gifts this year? What are you planning on making?
c_lang
Don't feel bad Travis, I'm also in the process of making Christmas Gifts. I'm making Portraits for family as gifts. When I first started, I only was doing 5 now I'm up to 20 different ones. Seems others found out and wanted one. I'm glad I got a few months to get them all done. One good thing about starting this early, you have plenty of time to get them done without seeming rushed.

Barry5180
NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO! It can't be that time of year again already. I'm still organizing and unpacking from moving, and have what seems like a hundred other commitments that are conspiring to keep me out of the shop. Before I can even begin worrying about Christmas I still have a wedding gift to cut for my stepdaughter who is getting married on Sept. 26. yost69
Im a little behind i guess. Well that doesnt sound right. But anyway I just moved up to halloween yesterday. Unless cutting ornaments for project rudolph is considered christmas presents, then i jumped back in time to halloween. Ben
Fran
Well, I planned to make some gifts this year, if this darn heat will let up. But then I haven't really decided what to make and for who. Don't have that many people in my life, so will probably get er done when the weather cools off some. Fran
Christina
Yep, it's just about the right time to think about Christmas..........it'll be here before you know it! I've tried to work on gifts, but like Fran, it's just been so hot I can't do much of anything. I did my butterfly box and decided that had to go to my sister in law. I'm working on a portrait of my mom and her dog "Little Man".............my first portrait! And I'm sure wishing I had blown it up much bigger! I left it at 8" X 10".............and it's a Scotty mix type terrier with loads of fur and boy oh boy am I having fun with all those little jaggidy pieces for a first portrait.........GEEZ. But it's going okay just really slow. I also have my Lady Swinging on the Moon in progress..........again I did it the same size and should have done it much bigger. I want to do a few ornaments............but my curve/circle cutting is still pretty bad lololol. I keep practicing but it doesn't get much better so far. My hubby has put in his order for a portrait of our niece Ashleigh, one of his dad and he keeps seeing this one and that one that he just has to have lolol. I cut Joscrolls "Manure Occurith" as a gift for a coworker of my son's........then forgot to take pictures to share............dumb dumb dumb! But it turned out great. Hopefully I'll actually find time to get the ones done that I want to do! Christina

Christina
LOL Dale............that's a thought! But I don't think the sander will solve all my cutting problems with circles hehehe. Christina
