Multifasited Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 (edited) Two different versions of Dan's excellent pattern ,I hope , I did it justice ! Which do you prefer ? the background can be changed on both ,I thought a sky blue ,might be excellent ,didn't have ,so I used white for contrast .Any suggestions ? OK ! I found some fabric added a couple small clouds ,what's the verdict ,The floating branch is another issue to be considered ,Having choices ,adds a new element to the craft! Your thoughts and input welcome ! Edited March 10, 2014 by Multifasited amazingkevin 1 Quote
Ron Johnson Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Good day Carl Excellent. I prefer the dark background but a sky blue could be just as effective. Quote
rjR Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 They are nice! Both are excellent. Try a few out of frame colors behind them and see which you like; then just set in frame and look again before doing the final. assembly. I think the sky blue Ron suggested is a good one to try. Quote
DWSUDEKUM Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Those are nice however I think I like the black backgound the best. Thanks for sharing this with us. DW Quote
amazingkevin Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Looks like high contrast is going to be what works for this creature of the night ! Very very elegant looking cutting! LarryEA 1 Quote
wombatie Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Definitely prefer the black background out of the two. But check out various blue colors to see what it would look like. Well done. Marg Quote

lawson56 Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 To me the Black looks best.Depending on what shade of Blue you go with. You did an Awesome job on the cutting. Quote
Kepy Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 I also prefer the dark background. You might also consider either extending the branch or using a narrower frame so that the branch ends at the frame. That would not leave it floating. Quote
frankorona Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Excellent work, both look wonderful, thanks for sharing. Quote
keefie Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 they look great with al the different backgrounds, but my personal favourite is the dark background. Quote
