Elephant Portrait Framed and Finished.

I finally got the Elephant portrait framed! I used Clear Poplar for the frame and cut out the bottom to look like grass..

I'm not a fan of the grass addition but, I give you an A+ for creativity.

Way to go, Mike. Looks great. The frame gives me an idea for framing a portrait next time. I think you have the work piece glued to the backer board & is not fastened to the frame the conventional way. Am I right or all wet ??  I like it & will definetly try one. I usually just put a foam sheet for backers on some of my portraits & set the picture into the frame. Thanks for sharing your idea. I like the grass idea.  Take Care
