cheeseburger
A good friend of mine's wife is having a birthday on the 20th and he wanted to get her something special. he wanted to get her a box, but didn't know what he wanted to do with it. He bought a plain Pine box from Hobby lobby. and brought it to me, I told him I would stain it but I didn't tell him anything else I did stain it.... and........ well............. . Yeah, I might of gotten carried away I made a Key from a Dowel and some underlayment. False Bottom Lined the whole thing with Felt Didn't charge him a dime, not even materials. He and his wife work very hard to support their 1 year old and I though She deserved something nice and special on her birthday. + I got to try out a couple things I've been wanting to use, Like Dowels and Sticky Back felt. Oh and I used Hot Glue for the first time since Grade School. I'm Pretty Happy with it. Trouble is..... Now my Wife wants one...... yeeessh How am I going to top this. Nick@tinkers-cove
Love it...particularly NOT charging for the work - such a cool surprise for friends. I'm sure they'll be blown away - and rightly so. Nice work, and even nicer sentiment. cheeseburger

wombatie
Well Mr. Cheeseburger (Stephen) you did a truly fantastic thing both in workmanship and gift by turning a plain old box into something resembling love. I take my hat off to you my friend. If I showed that to my husband he would say " Well off you go and make yourself one" Marg Phantom Scroller and cheeseburger
