I have made something like that for decades from the edges of the sander sheets after wearing out the sheet. I just wrapped around a piece of scrap wood.

These sure look convenient!

If they stand up decently they will be a good buy..

Looks like a great price for that product. I just bought some needle files and I'm itching to get in the shop and try them out. There are a half dozen different shapes and sizes that are so small and a dremel can't get into those tiny places so I'm hoping mine will work out well. Can't wait to try them out. I paid more than that price for a handle and the files but the handle will be easy for me because of the arthritis and such. Great find. Fay

Well, I drove by Rockler the other day and stopped in and picked up the sanding twigs. I expected something a little different. These are about 1/8" thick so I will still have to cut and use sandpaper for the smaller kerfs. Oh, well, live and learn.

I made some sanders by gluing sand paper on little hobby sticks that look sort of like Popsicle sticks, only smaller. Steve good has a video on them. I also use 1/16 inch dowels or larger where needed and wrap a piece of sandpaper around it for fret sanding and that seems to work pretty well for me..

I like the idea of what you posted, Dan, Might try them anyway. cheep enough to give it a try.
