heppnerguy
In our little town, one of our favorite doctors is retiring at the end of April. so I remembered that Sue Mey has some great " proud to be" plaque, patterns that she sells, so I went on her sight and sure enough, she had what I wanted. I made this one to give to our doctor as a little thank you for his kind and caring service to us. Lucky2 and lawson56

rjR
Sorry to hear about your DR leaving; closer and more medical access is one of the few advantages of the more urban setting, that I live in. Great job! Unfortunately small town doctors become very hard to replace with a "good" one.

Wilson's Woodworking
In the last couple of years I have seen a lot of the older doctors hanging it up in our rural areas. Very sad to lose all that experience. Wonderful work on this. Keep it up.

heppnerguy
thank you everyone for the nice compliments.. I enjoy making gifts for people a lot. Then they are usually appreciated and that makes it a joy to do. That is why I do not enjoy making things that I hope will sell. that is just me, I guess.
