Rob Roy Posted March 25, 2014 Report Posted March 25, 2014 (edited) Could this be two or three new scrollers taking over the saw Roly??. Your little Princess will be doing this sooner than you think!!. In the meantime I'll just wait my turn to use the saw. No doubt Keith will have one or three comments to make, as will everyone else. Might as well encourage them when they're keen. I'm not in too big a hurry to go near anything sharp at the moment ( including the wife's tongue) , because they haven't stabilised the warfarin yet, should be OK in a week or so. Hope you all have a good day. Rob Roy Edited March 25, 2014 by Rob Roy Wilson's Woodworking and bobscroll 2 Quote
Ron Johnson Posted March 25, 2014 Report Posted March 25, 2014 Two for sure. The third is questionable. Rob Roy 1 Quote
amazingkevin Posted March 25, 2014 Report Posted March 25, 2014 This is true, but how come they don't have the jams plugged into their ears yet? Pump up the tunes Gramps! Give them cookie monster to cut or Barney, something they can relate to, tetetubbys? Looks like their batteries are fully charge waiting for you to leave the shop so they can investigate lots. Kepy Posted March 25, 2014 Report Posted March 25, 2014 Enjoy them while you can as before long they will grow up enough to have other things on their minds. That from the voice of experience. Hope you have better luck with Warfarin than I did. Never did get it regulated so switched to Pradaxa but had a reaction so now am on Xeralto which seems to be working. Rob Roy 1 Quote

Hi Kevin the batteries are fully charged OK. I think I'm going to have to hide the CHARGER,and maybe even drop the voltage. Rob Roy. Quote

wombatie Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 Just so long as you don't trim yours Roy. :o The blood thinners that they put my on for 12 months did its job so well that every time I had my insulin I would get a bruise as big as an apple. Made life very difficult I can tell you. You listen to Marg otherwise I will tell her what you say about her. ;) ;) Marg Rob Roy, Phantom Scroller and keefie 3 Quote

Marg Too late Marg - I already told her, why do you think Rob said he's scared of the wife's tongue lol. Great pictures there Rob, looks like they are better scrollers than you already  Better than me too if they scrolled that teddy too!!! On 6th April I have my daughter and family visiting for a week - all three grandkids love having a go on my scrollsaw (it's a lot safer than letting them loose on my lathe :scared: ) Last visit the had a try at making simple coasters for their cups of tea to sit on, the pattern was as simple as I could make it for them but they all managed to do a very good job of cutting them. wombatie and Rob Roy 2 Quote

Those three wee rascals will keep you going Keith. Just watch that Knee of yours when you're chasing them. Enjoy them for as long as you can Keith, not that I need to tell you that, with your experience. Hope you all have FUN Rob Roy. keefie 1 Quote
keefie Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 Mine are a bit older than yours, ages are from 12 to 15 and they're great, if we go out I get help to walk , the 2 girls argue over who's going to hold my arm to steady me - which usually means I nearly get knocked over lol wombatie 1 Quote
