Made a small address sign for my sister and brother in law a while back like the one here using the shape of the island and cutting the street address out.  She asked if I could do another for a gift she wanted to give to someone for a house warming gift.  Did the cut out but hated to waste the left over so I created the sign with the family name in the center. This way nothing went to the scrap pile.
