bazzer
Hi my user name is bazzer, hallo to you all. I have been fretsawing for aprox 20 years as a hobby, I also do pyrograghy which I mix into my designs, I live in Accrington. Lancashire. I haven't come across anyone near who does fretsaw or scrollsaw work. I have made many items over the years, saved a fortune in presents, best thing I ever learnt. thank you. amazingkevin, Phantom Scroller and Rob Roy

rjR
A BIG OREGON HELLO! A huge "WELCOME TO OUR INSANITY!" form all of us. Well these people summed it up! Great site-- weird people-- some of the others even know what they are doing! I just keep practicing and eventually I might get part of it right IF Oregon does not have anything else; it has TREES! Fantastic varieties-- BUT-- still all lumber is expensive! "" So I cheat; use salvage--thrown away etc. That way I can afford blades and sandpaper. heppnerguy
I also want to welcome you to our big world wide family. There are a lot of active people here from the UK. We love all you people and with all your personal years of making saw dust, we would all love to see some of your work. Amazing Kevin hit the nail on the head when he said for you to log on daily. If you do, then very shortly you will become relaxed and know that you are among a lot of fun and talented people who all really like one another. Feel free to explore all we have to offer here and If you are a pattern maker, i hope you contribute some of your patterns for others to take a try at cutting. Rob Roy
Hello Graham, I'm Roy from Scotland, welcome to the mad house, well, depending on the weather, sometimes, we can be quite sensible and serious. There's one or two characters in our family, but I'll let you find them out for yourself. As long as you work in wood, and produce good quality TEA and COFFEE, come on in and make yourself at home and most importantly, ENJOY yourself. Rob Roy.
