cheeseburger
Definitely been busy. Nice work. Gods work on the bird feeder. I've seen the patten before but don't remember where. Was it a free website? Thanks for sharing This pattern is a Modified version of the one published by Steve Ramsay. It's a bit smaller and uses a differnent thickness for the two frames to cut down on use of materials. I can make 1 swing out of a good 48 inch pallet board. Just using a table saw to rip the wood to thickness and a miter saw for all the cuts. I'm in the middle of building a jig to make it easier to assemble. I'd like to get total time down from 1.5 hours to 45 minutes with jigs and standardized parts. It's all held together with Brad Nails. Although i will start using glue in addition to brad's with the ones I make from here on out. I may also paint some of them with team colors as that kind of item sells very well in my area. amazingkevin
I don't know what to tell you Stephan, but that feeder looks like it's for the birds, lol ! you've done so much with so little,i'm afraid what would happen should you aquire a few more tools !That country store would have to expand just to contain all your work in a few weekends.God only knows what would come out of a saw mill should you be running it.A little stain mixed with gasoline could go a long way tinting some of these fine creations. Most interesting display of you talent which will skyrocket once a few sales are under your belt for incentive.Don't forget to hang out your shingle with a catchy name for your work "Down home cabin creations"
