wombatie
I can't get the arm of my EX to stay up it is constantly crashing down, usually on my knuckles. How do I get it to stay up? Thanks Marg
Docupton
Looking from the front to rear, on the left hand side rear is a plate cover, remove this cover and adjust the nut inside till the arm stays up, usually only small adjustments are needed. x wombatie

tvman44
Mine has no cover to remove, I simply loosen the nut and adjust the screw and tighten the jam nut. Lucky2
Rover2
Mine also. No panel to remove. The adjustment screw is external. ( Newer model) I don't have to adjust it very often but when you do, Don't overdue it. Very small adjustments at a time. Just enough keep the arm up and no more. I think the manual says to go no more than 1/4 turn on the screw at a time but I have found that it takes less then that to get the results that I am looking for. Hope this helps. Dan Page
Just to maybe help someone else some trouble the screw to do this with will break pretty easily. I found out the hard way the first time I adjusted mine and of course it is a special screw that has a spring and ball bearing in it. Seyco does have them but to me they are expensive. Just thought I would throw this out there. wombatie and Phantom Scroller
