Thanks Barbara Hi barbara,if you google serifdraw plus x5 tutorials you'll find quite a lot of videos for it. I'm not a computer buff but the videos might help you. Have a good day. Travis Posted April 9, 2014 Report Posted April 9, 2014 Looks like a good program. The thing with graphics programs is that they are more-or-less the same, in concept anyway. The difference is where the buttons are located and sometimes what the buttons are called. You can go through the Inkscape Class and get a feel for the designing process, then look for some tutorials specifically for Serif Draw Plus X5 to learn the interface. Quote
Phantom Scroller Posted April 9, 2014 Report Posted April 9, 2014 Yes Barb I used to use it years ago when it was free and they seem to constantly be upgrading it, but as a program it was a good one. I CAN'T KNOCK IT. Roly Quote

Indy77 Posted April 10, 2014 Report Posted April 10, 2014 There is a free 2d cad software called Draft Sight. It does everything Autocad will do. I insert raster images a lot and trace with lines and arcs. I use Autocad at work daily so a good freebie for me. Quote
